Mr gbenga X-adebija is the Managing Director & Chief Executive of
Ashton & Layton, a business communication company with a growing
list of clients within and outside Nigeria.
He is an alumnus of the University of Ilorin, University of
London and the Lagos Business School. During his career at
Cadbury, he led many strategic initiatives in Corporate Social
Responsibility, Human Resources, Marketing, Corporate
Communication, Supply Chain, Negotiation & Procurement,
Administration and New Business Development for the Europe, Middle
East and Africa operations of Cadbury Schweppes.
In 2003, he won the company’s Award for Excellence, the highest
and most prestigious Award in Cadbury for consistently excellent
performance.
Mr X-adebija has had extensive business education in the UK, USA,
France, Holland, Denmark, Poland, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt,
Ghana and Nigeria.
He also has public sector experience having served as Special
Adviser to a Federal Minister, where he provided support in the
area of Strategic Planning and Organizational Communication.
He is widely acknowledged for leadership and intellectual
capabilities across a wide-spectrum of stakeholder publics in the
business community in Nigeria.
Extremely cosmopolitan, with world-class perspectives and
outlook, X-adebija has a towering profile across both print and
electronic media as the author of a best-selling book of short
stories, MAGNIFICAT, a television personality in Nigeria(he was
recently a panel judge on THE INTERN, a business reality show
sponsored by Bank PHB in Nigeria), motivational speaker, Corporate
Strategist, Contributor/Columnist for several major Nigerian
newspapers such as ThisDay , The Sun, TW magazine & Daily
Independent, resource person at local and international business
strategy workshops and seminars around the world.
X-adebija holds membership of broad-ranging social and
professional associations including Public Relations Society of
America, International Association of Business Communicators,
Ikoyi Club, 1938, NiteShift and many others.
He is married to Yetunde, Managing Director of Simply Posh Ltd, a
leading promotional gifts company and they are blessed with three
children.
